### Objectives

This article presents how to use the Load Interpolation Algorithm (LIA) in a MANATEE simulation to speed-up calculation of electromagnetic loads at variable speed, in particular for detailed design stages.

A first single simulation computes the electromagnetic flux density distribution for several operating points and stored it in a Flux Look-Up Table (FLUT). Then electromagnetic loads are interpolated for each operating point, hence only vibroacoustic calculations are repeated at each different speed.

Variable speed calculation based on Load Interpolation Algorithm is activated in MANATEE with

`Input.Simu.type_varspeed=1`

Input.Simu.type_loadcalc=2

The total number of speed steps to use is specified by

`Input.Simu.Nspeeds=100`
